Lockheed-Martin F-35C Lightning II (carrier version) – kit from LEGO® bricks

Description

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) programme is a technical and strategic alliance of various Western states and was launched in 1993. Its most presentable result is the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft. Too many cooks don’t always spoil the broth, apparently.

The stealth multi-purpose fighter plane is not only particularly aerodynamic, but also designed so that its heat radiation can barely be detected by its opponents. It first went up in the air in 2006 and has been produced in series by the US manufacturer Lockheed Martin since 2011. There are three basic versions of the F-35:

• as an F-35A, a conventional take-off and landing aircraft,
• as an F-35B, it can perform take-offs over a short distance and land vertically,
• as an F-35C, it is used on aircraft carriers.
