Description
The only species in the Zanclidae family, the Moorish idol is nevertheless an iconic fish made famous by the character of Gill in Finding Nemo. With bold, contrasting stripes of black, white and yellow and a long, sickle-shaped dorsal fin, the Moorish idol cuts a fine figure in tropical and subtropical reefs throughout the Indo-Pacific.
