The model of the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 in roughly 1:100 scale is a LEGO® MOC (my own creation) by Ralf J. Klumb and available exclusively from The Brickworms.

This set contains the original LEGO® bricks for a model of the aeroplane plus instructions.

While its predecessor, the MiG-15, had seen action in the Korean War, the MiG-17 was specifically designed as an interceptor to shoot down American bombers. Though also employed during the Cold War, this high-subsonic fighter aircraft found particular success against FJ-4s during the Vietnam War.
