Pink robin – kit from LEGO® bricks

Description

It is always the same. The breast of the male pink robin glows pink and contrasts beautifully with the deep black of the rest of the fist-sized passerine bird. The female’s base colour, however, is olive brown, with an ochre breast and belly.

Pink robins are found solely in Australia and Tasmania; their main habitat is damp forests. Only the female is responsible for building the nest and hatching the two to four eggs. The handsome husband, on the other hand, assists in feeding the young.
