Car rescues and boat booms
Bertie tagged along on an emergency callout this morning, where fireman Freddy (pictured) rescued a family of four from a flipped car. The trusty fire engine was a big help in getting everybody out safely and quickly. Yesterday was not such an adrenalin rush: he took a crane with float truck out for a test-drive, and even used it to transport a boom to the marina.
