Truck and tent – exploring with Vancity Adventure

Daryl Berden is not only a graphic artist and the owner of construction company Ridgewater Homes; he is also a part-time adventurer, exploring the Canadian province of British Columbia with his son Cayden and dog Tosha under the moniker of Vancity Adventure.

What began as a means to escape the stresses of the coronavirus pandemic and enjoy nature soon turned into a journey of self-awareness, testing personal limits and a family bonding experience.

Daryl, Cayden and Tosha travel in their 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT, sleeping in a pop-up tent on their truck whenever the fancy takes them. You can follow their YouTube channel or other social media platforms. The video in which Daryl and Cayden present this kit you can watch here.

Ralf developed the model from original LEGO® bricks in minifigure scale, like the other models in the van life category. The tent can be lifted off the loading bay, the rear flap closed and off you go with a different load. The figures representing Daryl, Cayden and Tosha were sourced by Gel from the vast assortment of commercially available minifigures.
