Description

A successful series manufactured by General Motors, the Chevrolet Nova was the third generation of what was originally named the Chevy II. This name was dropped in 1969, however, and the iconic bowtie emblem installed above the front grille. Production of this model ran from 1967 until 1974. Its redesign included a longer wheelbase (111 inches) than that of its predecessors and a front subframe to house the powertrain and front suspension. It was equipped with a V8 engine, dual exhausts and rear-wheel drive. In 1970, 315,122 units of the Nova series were produced.

This car was requested by a colleague at Winterfeldtplatz market. The main challenge that Ralf faced in replicating it in LEGO was making the body as accurate as possible, taking into account the limited availability of bricks in dark blue. Incidentally, it is the first car that he has developed in LEGO in this format.
